I had the rare privilege of spending time with an old friend from Holland this week. Jeroen van Hoorn and his new wife Marija came to the U.S. for their honeymoon. They will be touring the western states for about three weeks and will try to soak up as many sights as possible before returning to Europe.
Jeroen was one of the most talented cyclists I have ever met and his family looked after me as if I was one of their own while Terry and I were racing in Europe. His sister Natalie is also a good friend and I miss them both very much
